150 Page Update

Ed sees Sophie once again when he is eating ice cream with the doorman. He wants to tell her that she is beautiful, but he does not. Ed returns home to find two burly men eating his meat pies. They knock him out and when he comes to he finds out that the names of these men are Daryl and Keith. They don't tell him who sent them, but they punch Ed again and leave him an envelope. In it, there is a letter and the Ace of Clubs with the message "say a prayer at the stones of home". Ed tells Audrey about the cards, and he is upset when he sees that she was busy sleeping with a guy from work. He asks her why they can't be together and she says that he is her best friend and she cares too much for him. Also, Marv keeps asking Ed to play in a barefoot soccer game.

Ed can't seem to find the next clue, so he revisits the other places he has been. The family at the first house is happy because the dad has left, he visits Millie, and sometimes watches Sophie run. Then one night he gets a man that has Ed take him out by his house to these rocks where he played with his brother. He finds three names on the rocks, Thomas O'Reilly, Angie Carusso, and Gavin Rose. He goes to a T. O'Reilly, but it turns out that it is the man's brother Toni. He tells Ed that his brother is a priest and that they don't get along very well. He goes to see where the priest lives. It is a run down part of town and Ed is scared of the people who live there. He finally gets up the courage to meet the priest. Tom is a very sarcastic person, he smokes and does other this things that priests usually don't do. Ed convinces his friends to go with him to church that Sunday. There aren't very many people there and Ed decides that he is meant to fill up the priest's church.
